The Gender Equality Index at Miyoshi Europe in 2025

Through its slogan “treating you right,” the Miyoshi Group—and Miyoshi Europe in particular—has made “treating employees well” a core value by committing to gender equality in the workplace and by shaping its day-to-day human resources policy in accordance with its humanistic and ethical values, which prioritize diversity.
Indeed, Miyoshi Europe places the utmost emphasis on gender equality in the workplace at all levels, whether in recruitment, skills development, compensation, or access to leadership roles.

The Gender Equality Index:

The Gender Equality Index was established by the “Freedom to Choose One’s Professional Future” Act in 2018. Since 2019, this index has enabled eligible companies to assess the level of gender equality on a 100-point scale based on the following criteria:
• Gender pay gap,
• Difference in individual pay raise rates,
• Number of female employees receiving a pay raise following maternity leave,
• Gender parity among the 10 highest-paid employees,
• Difference in promotion rates (only for companies with more than 250 employees).

Based on its size and workforce distribution, Miyoshi Europe is evaluated in 2025 on a 60-point scale calculated using the following indicators:
• Variation in individual pay raise rates = score achieved: 35/35 points
• Number of female employees receiving a raise following maternity leave = score obtained: 15/15 points
• Gender parity among the 10 highest salaries = score obtained: 5/10 points
For the year 2025, Miyoshi Europe obtained a score of 55/60, resulting in a final grade of 92/100.
