Research & Innovation

Innovation is part of Miyoshi’s history and DNA. Our ambition: to remain at the forefront of research, development and technology to provide high quality products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Miyoshi, a forerunner in surface treatment

Historically, Miyoshi is the first company to have created and marketed treated pigments in cosmetics.

This major technological innovation has considerably broadened the scope of possibilities for the cosmetics industry. We have thus brought to the market products with new functionalities which have largely contributed to the success of the new galenics.

Ongoing innovation

Our research teams and our formulation laboratory work hand in hand on a daily basis to meet our customers’ needs and help them implement their future projects. The flexibility of our teams and our sense of collaboration are major assets in order to reduce development time and offer you turnkey solutions.

Using our know-how and our original technology, we have developed our catalogue by offering amino acid, ester treatments, etc., in keeping with market expectations.

By combining these technologies with high quality fillers essential for cosmetic formulation (sericite, mica, talc, etc.), or with functional powders (composites, silica beads, etc.), we have been able to develop a wide range of innovative and unique products, which today are among the most innovative on the market.

Ambition with no limits

What is our ambition? To remain at the forefront of research, development and technology to provide high quality products and services.
Our customer excellence allows us to meet or exceed your requirements, while remaining compliant with applicable regulations.

Today, 20% of Miyoshi Europe’s profitability is reinvested each year in research and development.
Each of the Group’s subsidiaries also has its own R&D centre in order to stay as close as possible to customer needs and constraints depending on the region.
